Which of my levels you like the most? And why?
Years are passing and since, I’ve release 30 levels for UT4, excluding the variants! I was wondering which of my levels you like the most? And why?

DM-Valas, 1.4 update
For a Christmas gift, I’ve made enhancements to DM-Valas, yep again 🙂 Which are :
- Added 5 vials on the small footbridge above the Belt.
- Enhance Post Process.
- I made a new room which now host the Redeemer. Player must be close enough so the doors automatically open. They stay open 3 seconds before closing. Note that players and assets collisions are sometime odd, which isn’t something that can be fix with UT4 obsolete editor.
- Move the Lightning and Shock ammo near the Rocket Launcher where the Redeemer was before.
- Tweak few pickup desireability. Bots will now use the lift behind the Belt much more often and also travel some areas more then before for collecting the pickups.
- Tweak culling values on various static meshes.
- Update the preview screen.
- Update the readme.
My 2023 levels
2023 as been a very busy year, mapping wise. I’ve release many HQ levels which are DM-Alpu 2050, DM-Kyron GrP., DM-S.M.C. 65, DM-Lost In Time, Journey to Oblevia, Part 3 (DM-Morpheus) Journey to Oblevia, Part 4 (DM-Fractal) and finally a update for DM-Valas 🙂
This is a lot of great and free content. Next level will be in 2024. Meanwhile, I’ll wait for your comments because most of you that download and play all those levels didn’t bother to give me feedback yet. You did told me you would but I’m still waiting and months as passed.
DM-Valas, 1.3 update
I did some updates to DM-Valas. The updates are :
- Enhance Post Process.
- Modified collisions on few static meshes. I means that any new level that will be using the same static meshes will be trouble free, collision wise.
- Tweak AI a bit
- Update the readme for all my levels.
Next project?
2 days ago, I’ve released Oblevia, part 4 final version, my remake of UT99 DM-Fractal.
While there are a ton of awesome UT99 levels I can choose from to continue my Journey to Oblevia project, which I’ll do somewhere in 2024, I’ve started another level yesterday but this time, I’m not aiming to build a level for playing but rather a showcase level which I’ll add gameplay element later on. It’s more a artistic approach which I’ll make playable after instead of creating something with emphasis on gameplay from the start, my first! 🙂
This new project is called DM-Triad and it will be a mix of brutalism and dirty environment 😀
DM-Lost In Time, final available
I’m happy to announce the availability of the final version of DM-Lost In Time 😀 For those who already have access to my MEGA storage, grab the level there and overwrite the previous one and voilà 😉 This is what as been done since RC1 :
- Made a custom lift that replace the default one.
- Near the 50 armor, blocking volume was missing, player could hide in the rocks.
- Another blocking volume was missing under a big tile in the building.
- Blocking volumes as been added and mesh collisions adjusted between the Shock lift and Sniper opening.
- Various tweaks on the landscape and plant materials.
- Other little tweaks here and there.
