Story / Histoire

Journey to Oblevia, Part 2. Jerl Liandri acquired this supply point for B30-type spacecraft as a possible tax relief for his other fledgling company, Liandri Mining. Now Liandri Corp. converted it into a combat arena. Although not very complex, it still manages to cause more victims than the neighboring relay stations in the sector in which it is located.

Details

The second part of my Journey to Oblevia project is DM-Stalwart XL. This ‘Terra’ version is a variant of the initial space version. It take place on a planet, hence ‘Terra’, located in the middle of a rocky land.

The play area is exactly the same. The outside area is all new. Lighting as been reworked to fit the theme. This new version bring more color contrast and deeper black. I also enhance things like blocking volumes, reflections and ambient sounds. I also added decals, fog, few meshes, etc.

The level feature the awesome custom music track Go down 16 (UT4 redux) by Necto Ulin.

Note, for all my levels I use Temporal AA since it offers the best visuals.

  1. I really like the detail and game-play on this map and having the redeemer sitting behind the big door that opens and closes slowly is a fun idea.
