Story / Histoire

Sevy Military Complex 65 is the 65th sector of a vast military complex. It is found to serve as a warehouse for missiles, ammunition and other top secret classified items. Due to a computer hack, the access device to the complex is experiencing some operational difficulties, which unfortunately allows clever individuals to enter the complex without authorization.

Le Complexe Militaire Sevy 65 est le 65ème secteur d’un vaste complexe militaire. Il se trouve à servir d’entrepôt de missiles, de munitions et autres articles classifiés top secrets. Suite à un piratage informatique, le dispositif d’accès au complexe rencontre quelques difficultés de fonctionnement, ce qui malheureusement permet aux individus ingénieux de pénétrer dans le complexe sans autorisation.

Installation

Put the files into :

If this directory is not currently on your system, you can safely create it.

Details

Layout ; I inspired myself on DM-UCMP-BloodRun made by the extremely talented Chong Lee, which is one of my favorite UT2004 levels from one of my favorite level designer.

Gameplay ; This is a medium sized level. It doesn’t matter if players like close or remote fights, this level offers all these possibilities and also brings a lot of vertical action 😀 Also included, the Bezerk, the KEG, the Redeemer and the UDamage!

Visuals ; I successfully imported this new sci-fi pack, Big Star Station. I intent to build 3 levels from this new pack. There are several small rooms, all different from each other. Some include powerups and others only decoration, useful for launching the Redeemer discreetly 🙂

The level feature the awesome music track “Dream tear down (UT99 redux)” by Necto Ulin coming from his Unreal Tournament 99 remixes album.

Note, for all my levels I use Temporal AA since it offers the best visuals.
