In a futuristic city where no one has anything left to lose, poverty, indifference, individualism and insalubrity reign. Unfortunately, all you have to do is do like all the others… be the last survivor taking all that’s left in order to stay alive! This will probably be your last fight…
Dans une cité futuriste où personne n’a plus rien à perdre, règne la pauvreté, l’indiférence, l’individualisme et l’insalubrité. Malheureusement, il ne te reste qu’à faire comme tous les autres… être le dernier survivant en prenant tout ce qui reste afin de demeurer en vie! Ce sera sans doute ton dernier combat…

Details
Layout ; I didn’t have a layout in mind except that I wanted different types of long, narrow passageways resembling bridges or platforms like you often see in cities of the future. All this on 3 floors through an urban theme and executed in a CyberPunk environment.
Gameplay ; On the playability side, it’s a very simple level where the emphasis is on mastering what happens at height and at long distance. Although the Beserk, the KEG and the UDamage are included, it’s still not easy to dominate this level and it’s up to you to find out. This is not a “competitive” type of level, it is for those who just want to have fun in a CyberPunk environment.
Visuals ; To create this level, I’ve bought this sci-fi pack. Since I’ve been designing levels, this is my first of this type. This time, I wanted to tackle a new theme, for me of course, CyberPunk, where the future, the urban and insalubrity are mixed together. There is trash and graffiti everywhere, which is contrasting for a futuristic city. To add a little dynamism, flying cars populate the sky of this city.
Note, for all my levels I use Temporal AA since it offers the best visuals.

Nope, it’s much more smaller than that. Actual file is only 584 MB while the original pack weight 1.4 GB.
The pack use mostly 4K textures and some 2K textures. Only very few remains in 4K because the majority is compress to 2K and 1K, some even smaller. Like all my levels, I do my best to reach the best compression possible without losing too much visual quality 🙂

Just wanted to say thanks for the map. She is a little unconventional for DM but visuals are great. It gladdens me to see your exploring new territory in the editor.

I was one of the few lucky to try it out before release through Mega. It is again a masterpiece! The map is bigger then I expected. Not only in area, but also a lot of heights. Good for long distance head shots or lightning. I think 4 – 6 players would be optimal. The map is loaded with weapons, amps, bezerk and deemer which make it a wild map to play. And all packed in a futuristic design. Thanks again for this map Steve!

Hey, not an average level, different in the way you play it, I mean.
But most importantly: I had fun playing it!
I read your info about this level and I was wondering how you managed to use assets from the pack you mentioned as according to the Epic-marketplace it can only be used with engine 4.19 and upwards (?)
I recently bought a pack which should be usable with 4.15 and upwards, but I couldn’t migrate it to UT. It works with the ‘regular’ version 4.15 though….

You can use most UE4 & UE5 assets if you export from 4.2x or 5.x and import them in UT editor. Migration can only be used with compatible engine which isn’t doable in UT unless the pack is compatible with 4.15.0 and earlier.
On Epic Marketplace, when it is mentioned 4.15, it is 4.15.2 – 4.15.3 or newer in reality. The last number is crucial but the interface is limited to 1 dot only.
So for UT, you have to import the assets (meshes and textures) and set all of them the same way as the original to make sure they work well. Note that some assets won’t work even if the import process was successful.
