This map is Halo’s BattleCreek for UT3 🙂
A near faithful recreation of the UT2004 map CTF-Magma 🙂
He promised another update on this map. He made a lot of enhancements / fix / additions. Personally, I question myself on certain things & don’t like others but it’s a nice upgrade none the less 🙂
You can grab the last version (1.3) on Epic 😀
CTF-GRD & DM O*bert is a remake of the classic arcade game Q*bert.
For any dudes that remember that very old popular arcade game, you will love it 😀 I never was a fan of this game when I was a teen BUT I must say that it’s very accurate, simple & fun. The materials used are simple but look nice & goes with the theme. There is a GRD & a DM version :
The Greed version is intended to be a “king of the hill” map, with flags located at the top. The players will teleport back to the map if they fall off, but will take damage once they they return. The amount of damage will depend on how far you fell. Skulls will be returned to to the map via the “Skull Relocator Device’ located towards the top of the map. The O*bert sign will change colors briefly after each team scores.
The DM version will not allow players to teleport back to the map, so watch your step around the edges of the map. The U-Damage and weapons that fall off the map will be returned visa the “Weapon Relocator Derivce” located towards the top of the map. The O*bert sign will change to purple when the U-Damage is picked up and until it disappears.
WedgeBob have compiled some textures / materials for use with Unreal Technology 3 (either UDK or UT3), from the classic shooter, Quake. He compiled these through various tools, such as GIMP, TexMex, and Paint, etc. Although these may not exactly have the same graphics quality as the Tenebrae port, it is, however, about as close to the original as you can get.
