Textures pack (2K TX) by Almgp

Again, browsing the UE forums, I’ve found this old thread that is about ‘4 free materials – Rock and ground’ using high resolution textures (2048×2048) made by Almgp 😀

Originally, if you look at the Epic thread, the textures are in TIF format, a format that isn’t supported by UE yet. I don’t know if Almgp will release more materials neither ? Anyway, I’ve download the original pack, rename the files, add a readme and convert all files from TIF to TGA and then made a 7z archive (AlmgpTexturesPack1.7z) and upload it to my GoogleDrive account. Rocket Launcher hi-poly renders

Watching this week stream, I was amazed to see the Rocket Launcher hi-poly renders 😀 Seriously, the modeling is fantastic ! Therefore, the colors aren’t set yet. After my post in the Rocket Launcher dev thread. YemYam said “The colors are just for the hi poly only. I kept tweaking it here and there and the renders take a long time so I just gave up. Those renders do not reflect what the in game default model will be, we will make it cool and more color diverse I promise I just didn’t want to waste any more time on hi poly renders when the in game low poly is all that matters!” So, here the pretty renders 🙂

I don’t know if he will release more materials so I’ve made a mini textures pack (JohnRoseTexturesPack1.7z) including these 2 materials. This tiny pack as been made for my readers convenience, it’s much faster to download since it include everything in 1 7z file. The pack as been upload to my GoogleDrive account. Great music tracks by Shivaxi and collaborators

Shivaxi is a music composer and is music style is mostly DnB (Drum & Bass). I’m not a particular fan of this style but I think it can be a very good style for UT when it is well made 🙂

Most of Shivaxi’s UT music tracks are built for gaming, not for casual listening. They are made to be use in maps with continuous looping. A while ago, I asked him if he could release a non-loopable version of his tracks but he prefer to release the tracks only to be heard in loop. Shivaxi also collaborate a lot with other music composer like Archer6621, Cybernetika, Mellow Sonic to name a few. He also do remix which I also add to my UT4 music collection.

So, since I wanted to add Shivaxi’s music tracks to my collection, I knew I had to edit all of them for casual listening which I did today. Being an audiophile, I’ve made a Flac file from the original WAV file, complete all the information for each file and then upload all files to my GoogleDrive account. So, as a gift, you will be able to truly enjoy Shivaxi’s tracks in a lossless format (Flac) and each with a nice ending 🙂 All tracks can be download by clicking (DL). Enjoy the tracks 😀

Right after Gooba posted few Rocket Launcher paint-overs, it hasn’t took long that other community members made paint-overs over his paint-overs! I must say they all look fantastic 😀 I’ve took the images, add a tad of contrast and add a little border for my weapon concepts collection and share the pics with you, dear readers 🙂 The first three are by hi-ban and the last by HenrikRyosa.
