I officially announce the release date of pack 2 is April 1st, next Friday 😀

The team is in the final phase of testing the maps & I hope you will enjoy playing them. After all, all maps as been in dev since many months, I hope players will like them & if so, I & the team will be happy you let us know what you think about them on the UOF official thread here 😉

The Crucible 1.2 requires no previous version to be installed, and includes the award winning Crucible weapons, characters, maps and more:
– The MSUC awarded weapons, plus, the Thor Lightning Gun and unlockable Dual Swords.
– Award winning characters, the Savior, Crusader, Skeleton Minion, Zombie, Hel and Gargoyle.
– Road Rage gametype adds berserk vehicle combat.
– 8 new maps including 2 Road Rage maps.
– Bloody new gore system.
– New movement system adds new dimension.
– New items replace the stock content, such as Armors, Health and certain powerups.
– Various customizable options such as Un-desaturation, Health Regen and more.
– New HUD in some gametypes.
Another UDK project I follow since the first announcement on Epic forums, damn time pass so fast !
Brief, the game is made from another Indie studio. The game take place in a futuristic wild west that combines the favorite motifs of the classic western genre with scraps of an obliterated technocracy 🙂

I didn’t start to play with UDK but I certainly watch many projects since some time now which are trailers, mods, characters, future retail games & such. While I see many beautiful WIP’s, I like to share with my visitors what I really enjoyed & had a “WOW” while watching / reading it !
Epic UDK forums is what Epic UT’s forums was many years ago, meaning it’s very active & the number of stuff that “pop out” is really amazing like in the old UT’s days 😀
So, I have this trailer to share, this awesome footage is from Hawken, it is made from an Indie studio, made from scratch with only 9 guy’s over the course of 9 months ! The game is a multiplayer Mech combat game. The focus is on creating an intense and enjoyable battle experience that captures the feeling of piloting a heavy war machine while keeping the action fast-paced and strategic.

The much anticipated new version of our popular Ballistic Weapons modification for UT2004 is here at last! Included in the new update, are 6 brand new weapons, including: X4 Knife, MD24 Pistol, XMk5 SubMachinegun, M46 Combat Rifle, BORT-85 Grenade Pistol, and A500 Skrith Acid Gun.
Along with the new weapons, there are a number of fixes, such as:
-Force-to Walk in sights and scopes
-Quicker Iron-Sight time
-FP9 immediate detonation delay added
-Network client “high recoil” bug fixed
-Option to limit DoubleJumping
-New “Ballistic Regeneration” mutator that adds life-steal and health regeneration
-Widescreen scopes fixed
-Blood causing ugly squares on terrain fixed
This update also comes as a sort of “complete” RuneStorm pack for UT2004, which, along with the new BW update, also features:
-JunkWar (all previous and a new update)
-Various RuneStorm maps
-Vehicles
-Music Pack
