Tileable maps (Stone #2) by mAlkAv!An

From the author : 🙂

“The second tileable map package contains 6 normal, height and ambient occlusion maps as well as blend masks. Again the idea is to use those maps to create materials by using basic diffuse textures which you will usually find a lot of in UE3’s sample content. Contrary to the first package I changed the texture setup this time. Whilst all normal maps are stored in one 24bit .tga, ambient occlusion & height maps and blend masks are stored in just one 24bit .tga file using the red, green and blue channel separately.”

UOF DM Map Pack on the way!

I’m happy to announce that a ‘UOF DM Map Pack’ is on the way 😀

In the contrary of pack #1 and #2, the UOF team pooled its efforts on the Death Match (DM) game type this time.

This third map pack is our Christmas gift to the community 🙂 You can expect various styles expressed in small to medium maps. Inspiration has come form the UT2004 and earlier to some of Epic’s newest projects and still others drawing further afield.

Further information will be release soon 🙂

CTF-Citius, finally available!

After 2 years of hard work, I can finally release this map 😀

Honestly, I didn’t thought I would finish it giving the map size! This map is freaking huge, the meshing, lighting, optimizations and other things took me months to compete. In the end, it took me 1.5 hours to perform a full rebuild!

When I build a map, team play and flow are my most important aspects. Awesome visuals are also a requirement for me but I still have a lot of things to learn to reach my final goal. I always try to make them look better. I’m aiming the CPB3 visual quality.

So I hope you will enjoy this map. I’ve put everything I’ve learn since the last 2 years in it. This is my last CTF, so enjoy.

Also, I would like to say a big THANK YOU to those peoples for their excellent feedback on UOF forum which are Achernar, Bl!tz, Lord_PorkSword and Odedge. I also want to THX DarkSonny07 & HugoMarques for their support along the WIP dev on Epic forum 🙂
