Quake textures / materials pack for UT3 / UDK Editor

WedgeBob have compiled some textures / materials for use with Unreal Technology 3 (either UDK or UT3), from the classic shooter, Quake. He compiled these through various tools, such as GIMP, TexMex, and Paint, etc. Although these may not exactly have the same graphics quality as the Tenebrae port, it is, however, about as close to the original as you can get.

  1. Very good on its initiative to make maps with textures for Quake 1. It is (and always will be) one of the most memorable games of all time. The textures did not represent a relevant role in the map, the main focus was the gameplay, and rewards that the engine (super old) game allowed.   2. Thank you, lucio. You’re free to use it, and create a map of your own. I will be looking through some of the various single and multiplayer maps in more detail to find out which ones I plan to bring to the Quake 1 revival project for UT3. Right now, I’m probably keeping my eye on Q1DM5, which may be one of the easier ones to remake for now. I believe the single player maps did double as DMs, but I’ll have to find out for sure. Needless to say, time to revive 1996 dark magic all over again.
